This past year we’ve been honored to sponsor a cyclist/musician/poet from Minnesota named Ben Weaver as he embarked on a two-wheeled adventure of a lifetime. Ben rode over 6,000 miles on a literal self-supported tour on his trusty Salsa to raise awareness for regional water issues through poetry and song. He rode the length of the Mighty Mississip, circled Lake Superior, and toured the San Juan Islands in the Pacific Northwest. Ben was nice enough to write up a little guest post for us about his project and share some wisdom that one can only glean from a life on the road. Discerning Cyclist, a cycling website out of the UK with a focus on cycling apparel, recently published a list of the top cycling jeans for men and women. We’re big fans of their site and very comprehensive reviews so were delightfullygobsmacked to find that our Cordura Jeans were in at number one. we recently came back from Alaska and wanted to share some photos of this amazing trip. even the plane ride up was pretty spectacular, here are the 3 sisters in Oregon three sisters in Oregon on the way to Alaska we landed in Fairbanks at 11p, picked up our rental, and headed straight to the highest peak around to check out the northern lights. they were spectacular that night: an incredibly bright, vivid, and crystal clear curtain of lights dancing in the sky. greens with violet and pink highlights, as if you were seeing watercolor being applied from below, looking up, the colors dripping down. words do not do the lights justice, and neither do photos really because to take...
