for swrve bottoms, we strive to be as true to size as possible. most other companies offer vanity sizing, but with us, a 32 means the waist circumference of the garment is 32". we update our size guides to provide the current sizing per garment frequently.
if you have trousers of which you like the fit, measure the waist and that is the swrve size! to measure the waist, lay them flat and make sure the front and back of the waistband lay evenly across each other, then measure from side to side (fold to fold on the inside), multiply by 2 (there are 2 layers of fabric) and voilà, you’ve got your measurement.

for swrve tops, please note our fit is a slimmer European fit similar to American Apparel's fit

Los Angeles curbside pick up is a free option to come pick up your order at our Headquarters in Glassell Park :) We'll email you the moment your order is packed up with all info needed!

FREE Priority USPS shipping with your $135 order, or $5 shipping under $135.

for other options, shipping cost is determined by the package weight and destination.

for domestic (US) customers USPS Priority is usually the fastest, least expensive option. to get an accurate shipping cost, please add the items to your cart and enter your mailing address at check out, the system will give you an estimate for shipping with various USPS and UPS options.

for international customers we suggest using DHL as it tends to be the best deal. We offer $25 DHL shipping with your minimum $150 order. It will arrive at your doorstep, regardless of where you are in the world, within 5 business days, and you get to track it as it makes its way to you. USPS Priority and First Class Mail may be a bit less expensive, but they have a higher tendency to lose packages. Please note that we are NOT responsible for lost packages! UPS rates tend to be rather exorbitant and you may be faced with a custom brokerage fee NOT included in the shipping rate.

international customers: please note that you may be charged additional customs duty fees at delivery NOT included in the shipping rate. these fees vary widely from country to country and there is nothing we can do to prevent them.

attention Canadian customers! our system will offer you UPS as a shipping option that may seem attractive, but we suggest NOT using UPS for orders going to Canada as they sometimes present you with a separate and additional customs clearance bill (on top of the customs duty) for $50 or more. eek!

I recommend this product

My 2nd pair, not my last pair.

These pants are built to last. Great fit while cycling, with stretch and breathability. I bought my second pair, since my original has become part of my work uniform. No complaints from me, only compliments from others.

Excellent pants for riding and all manner of active use

I'm a long time Swrve customer and the durable cotton downtown trousers are the best. Durable cotton feels great and lasts forever. I have camp shorts in the material, but now that its fall and winter coming here in Southern California, its nice to have some pants that can do anything. If I'm not riding around town, I like to go for long walks - these will be terrific. Great product, great people.

the best cycling pants

Bought a pair of these a month ago and I firmly believe they're the best pants for bike commuting out there. Vastly better than wearing jeans, even cycling-specific jeans (which is honestly a ****** idea, it's like jogging-specific jeans). They fit great, are well-made and extremely durable. I'm about to order another pair right now.

Great Quality Construction and Fabric, Just Didn't Fit :(

From all of the reviews and description, I really wanted these to work out. Sadly, they just didn't fit well at my "backside". Every body is different. Although I haven't had this issue with other brands and seem to have an average sized bum for my waist size, they left a bit more fabric back there that my wife said was "not flattering." I sadly returned them and although I may not be a great candidate for swrve's trousers, I will continue to enjoy and check out their other great clothes and accessories!

Almost Perfect

Have worn a pair of these nearly daily for commuting and an active job for over a year now and love them to death. The fit is great for someone who is fairly slim yet has the larger than usual 'cyclist' legs. Black color has faded a bit and I suspect it's because I've dried them with high heat almost daily after getting soaked during PNW winters. No faded color in the seat area so far, which I did experience with the black Cordura jeans, and that's amazing with how much time I've spent in the saddle with them. Still provides a fair resistance to water. One of my complaints is that in under a year both front pockets developed very large holes, mostly from carrying a large phone around in them all the time. I figure that can be repaired, however. Overall, the pants have definitely been worth the cost for me and I look forward to another year of wear!
