GENERAL NOTES ON FIT
for swrve bottoms, we strive to be as true to size as possible. most other companies offer vanity sizing, but with us, a 32 means the waist circumference of the garment is 32". we update our size guides to provide the current sizing per garment frequently.
if you have trousers of which you like the fit, measure the waist and that is the swrve size! to measure the waist, lay them flat and make sure the front and back of the waistband lay evenly across each other, then measure from side to side (fold to fold on the inside), multiply by 2 (there are 2 layers of fabric) and voilà, you’ve got your measurement.
for swrve tops, please note our fit is a slimmer European fit similar to American Apparel's fit
Los Angeles curbside pick up is a free option to come pick up your order at our Headquarters in Glassell Park :) We'll email you the moment your order is packed up with all info needed!
FREE Priority USPS shipping with your $135 order, or $5 shipping under $135.
for other options, shipping cost is determined by the package weight and destination.
for domestic (US) customers USPS Priority is usually the fastest, least expensive option. to get an accurate shipping cost, please add the items to your cart and enter your mailing address at check out, the system will give you an estimate for shipping with various USPS and UPS options.
for international customers we suggest using DHL as it tends to be the best deal. We offer $25 DHL shipping with your minimum $150 order. It will arrive at your doorstep, regardless of where you are in the world, within 5 business days, and you get to track it as it makes its way to you. USPS Priority and First Class Mail may be a bit less expensive, but they have a higher tendency to lose packages. Please note that we are NOT responsible for lost packages! UPS rates tend to be rather exorbitant and you may be faced with a custom brokerage fee NOT included in the shipping rate.
international customers: please note that you may be charged additional customs duty fees at delivery NOT included in the shipping rate. these fees vary widely from country to country and there is nothing we can do to prevent them.
attention Canadian customers! our system will offer you UPS as a shipping option that may seem attractive, but we suggest NOT using UPS for orders going to Canada as they sometimes present you with a separate and additional customs clearance bill (on top of the customs duty) for $50 or more. eek!

I’ve been wearing a range of swrve pants for years, on my bike, around the house and at work in the hospital. In July, I had a chance to return to the High Sierra to hike the final week of the John Muir Trail going South. My trusty pair of durable cotton camp trousers got me through the week of hiking, sweating, granite, sap, and I can safely say are 100% mosquito resistant as well!
The best and worst trousers I’ve owned
Such mixed feelings - in terms of fit, comfort and style these are the best trousers I’ve ever owned. I love these trousers but have now given up on them. Unfortunately the materials and dyes used are poor quality. I’ve owned 5-6 pairs of these trousers and they’ve never lasted over 1 year before the pockets start to split or the knees wear through. I do use them to climb so the knees is understandable but the pockets just have a phone put in and out so is poor quality. The worst thing though is the dye - the black trousers fade horribly within about 3 washes (I did a test keeping 1 pair new and wearing one pair for a few months to see how quickly they changed). After a few washes the black trousers go a horrible faded purple/brown. I’ve tried re-dying them and also patching them up myself many times but the fabric itself starts to degrade at that point so it’s a bit of a lost cause. Very sad to have finally given up wearing them as it’s too much hassle. Please please improve the dye and fabric as these are my favourite trousers. Was a loyal wearer for 3-4 years approx.
cute 'n' tuff pants
Most importantly: these are soo comfy and in terms of mobility they're about as good as no pants at all. They're baggier than any pants I've worn in a while, which took some getting used to, but ultimately a little variety in the trou collection seems like a good thing. my housemate (who does not normally compliment my pants repeatedly) thinks they're the cutest. While I haven't technically had these long enough to report on real-world durability, I've been fearlessly wearing them both to work and to the bouldering gym. The fabric feels virtually indestructible, swrve stitching is legendary, and my "durable cotton" shorts are still going strong after 2+ years, so I have faith that these will easily handle whatever mild abuse I might put them through.
Why did I wait?!
I’ve been wearing SWRVE shorts on the bike pretty much exclusively for the last 4 years, so when my situation changed I actually got to commute on my bike I figured these were the best option for colder mornings. I got these a month and a half ago, and I have hardly taken them off. These are, by leaps and bounds, the most comfortable pants I’ve ever owned. The perfect amount of stretch and warmth, and the pockets are amazing and make it way easier to get your phone out on the bike, since the pocket isn’t sandwiched between layers of fabric. If these are ever discontinued, I’m stocking up for a lifetime supply.
