GENERAL NOTES ON FIT
for swrve bottoms, we strive to be as true to size as possible. most other companies offer vanity sizing, but with us, a 32 means the waist circumference of the garment is 32". we update our size guides to provide the current sizing per garment frequently.
if you have trousers of which you like the fit, measure the waist and that is the swrve size! to measure the waist, lay them flat and make sure the front and back of the waistband lay evenly across each other, then measure from side to side (fold to fold on the inside), multiply by 2 (there are 2 layers of fabric) and voilà, you’ve got your measurement.
for swrve tops, please note our fit is a slimmer European fit similar to American Apparel's fit
Los Angeles curbside pick up is a free option to come pick up your order at our Headquarters in Glassell Park :) We'll email you the moment your order is packed up with all info needed!
FREE Priority USPS shipping with your $135 order, or $5 shipping under $135.
for other options, shipping cost is determined by the package weight and destination.
for domestic (US) customers USPS Priority is usually the fastest, least expensive option. to get an accurate shipping cost, please add the items to your cart and enter your mailing address at check out, the system will give you an estimate for shipping with various USPS and UPS options.
for international customers we suggest using DHL as it tends to be the best deal. We offer $25 DHL shipping with your minimum $150 order. It will arrive at your doorstep, regardless of where you are in the world, within 5 business days, and you get to track it as it makes its way to you. USPS Priority and First Class Mail may be a bit less expensive, but they have a higher tendency to lose packages. Please note that we are NOT responsible for lost packages! UPS rates tend to be rather exorbitant and you may be faced with a custom brokerage fee NOT included in the shipping rate.
international customers: please note that you may be charged additional customs duty fees at delivery NOT included in the shipping rate. these fees vary widely from country to country and there is nothing we can do to prevent them.
attention Canadian customers! our system will offer you UPS as a shipping option that may seem attractive, but we suggest NOT using UPS for orders going to Canada as they sometimes present you with a separate and additional customs clearance bill (on top of the customs duty) for $50 or more. eek!

- bike jacket needs
- art opening
- fashion reviewer
Really nice fabric and the fit is perfect for a slimmer look (size large, 6'-1", 190lbs, lean but not skinny build). The double zip is a bonus, and with the elasticated hem is great for keeping out drafts or temperature regulation. Big, big plus. The back pocket is a cool looking detail, but not sure how functional it'll be in the long run. In my ideal world a full width pass-thru glove pocket would probably be more useful. May invest in a second one in brown, or fingers crossed more colors will be offered in the future. Overall it's a really simple garment, very well executed (no easy task!).
Nice jacket except for the bright reflective patch
I didn’t use it. When I unpacked it, my partner and fashion reviewer said that it wouldn’t work in a social setting because it had that bright silver reflective patch on the back. I want a bike jacket that doesn’t look like a bike jacket. And I don’t need the reflective patch because my bike has lights! Seriously, ditch the reflective bit. You could make it more subtle, as in piping, but even that has its drawbacks, as reflective piping shows up too bright in photos with flash. I really want a jacket that looks like something I could wear to an art opening, but is rainproof, and has the slightly longer arms and tail that a bike jacket needs.
Almost perfect midweight jacket
This jacket is ALMOST perfect. It looks sharp, is comfortable, and just warm enough for those brisk spring days. My only real complaint is that it's quite tight at the bottom. I expected it to be fitted but not quite to that level. But you can unzip the bottom so it's not that big of an issue.
Great jacket that is functional and looks good too
We tried a couple of different jackets from Swrve and landed on this one for our outdoor/active 6th grader who hates coats and feeling sweaty and overheated. It's perfect weight for 'winter' at the bottom of the Bay Area (temps high 30s to 50s) and is wind and water resistant while still being breathable. The elastic at the bottom was a bit tight, but that's easily solved since it has a two way zipper, you just zip it loose at the bottom. It's actually been on more hiking, beach and school activities than biking but I think it would work well on the bike too, since it has good cuffs and waist and wind resistance.
I like the overall design and materials, and have been layering it with the combat wool shirt underneath on colder days. It is a sharp looking jacket both on and off the bike. My only complaint is the elastic in the waist area is too tight. I fixed this by bringing it to the tailors and having him remove the elastic all together, and now it fits perfectly.
